What’s your background? What got you into rap music?
I was born in Orlando, Florida, did a lot of traveling / saw a lot of culture so I heard rap really young and when I heard Fast rhyming/story telling I just fell in love with it. I also had a few Family members that frequently listened to it around me along with my older brother who was big into rap at the time.
How long has music been a part of your life?
Most of my life! I started playing instruments at the age of 7-8! I got into singing around 10 but was in a few choirs stuff like that as a little kid as well.
If it wasn’t for music, where would you be now?
Entrepreneur type stuff, I run a few companies on side as well as being an artist, I got into Facebook/IG Marketing when I was like 16, been learning ever since. I really don’t know though maybe I would get into some financial stuff or investments.
How did you come to realise that music was the way forward for you?
When People kept telling me to release new music, when I was younger I was not nearly as consistent as dropping so as time went by and I saw hundreds of messages from random people telling me to make more music I was like, Okay Im gonna keep this thing moving.
If you had to sacrifice one skill, which would you least like to let go, and why?
I’m a damn good Chef if I try to cook, I would sacrifice that skill because someone can always cook for me haha.
In what way do you aim to make a difference?
I want to make people feel they can be more free, have more fun, loosen up a bit without drugs, People will see my difference when they really get to know me Shh its a secret
Who’s your fashion icon, and why?
Louis Vuitton, Not because his company and it’s image but the man literally sacrificed and worked his ass off to build what it is today.
What’s the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Ive gotten so lucky too many times, I should have been in jail at least a few times by now in the US but luck fully have not been, in Central America it’s a little easier to get away with stuff hah the most is probably like stealing stuff from stores as a teen or selling weed, stuff I was able to get myself out of.
Where is your career heading? What’s the vision?
To the top, gonna keep staying consistent my visions to be as big as I can and hopefully start touring in 2022.
Good interview questions for rap artists about music
How would you describe your style of music?
My sound I definitely consider Dark/Eerie/motivational along with a bit of Laughs/Seriousness at the same time , I want my Audience to know I’m serious but still feel the aggression and things I have been through, but for the most part, I like to make music people can “Turn Up’ to and simply have fun to/quote lines
How do you put words to paper? What’s your creative process like?
I usually Freestyle over a beat first sometimes with the Mic on then I go back and re write it etc, make a song out of it, I have to be in a certain positive mood, nothing bothering me/ going on that day, I normally record / write music late as night with lights dimmed, it’s like a routine for me everyday,
When it comes to performing, what’s your style?
It’s been a minute since Covid, crazy, My music is to turn people up so that’s the energy I am bringing, I am a completely different person on stage.
If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Japan, 1 Because I have never been and 2 because I can just imagine if I had a big fan base a show late at night there would be insane, I also love the culture over there, seems super cool.
What’s your favourite project so far, and why?
My favorite project I ever made would have to be Voices, I was going through a lot in my life making that album even though it was one of my shortest, I made and released
How do you see your sound evolving in the next couple of years?
I want to keep experimenting with new sounds , trying out new styles / flows and working with new producers. I can see a bit of pop/singing being added to my music later on in my career as for it is something I know how to do, definitely be on the lookout though, I am working on a new project already!
