DJ Meli Mel is female DJ and Musical Artist from Sacramento CA. Music was a part of her life since her young age, when she was a 10 years old girl. She have been playing piano in middle school for 2 years. She found her passion and love towards being a DJ when she was a DJ for school rally in high school. After that school rally, she continued being a DJ for house parties in high school life. She enjoyed rocking the crown being the Dj and seeing everyone enjoy the music inspired and motivated her to be better and improve her skills. She bought a laptop, a dj mixer and computer speakers to practice more and start DJing by herself. Because Meli Mel is a female DJ and because there are few female djs in the area, she was quickly getting booked and her name was all over the Sacramento City after she introduced herself on social media.
Dj Meli Mel released Real Love (feat. J.Star and HouseParty) in 2020, No Rookie (feat. Steezy Fuego, Konkrete and Shmack) in 2020, Thotty (feat. ThatDudeNeno, J.Star, Deano and Vonnie) also in 2020 and The Most Recent and Amazing Performance Million Dollars in 2021.
She have support from everywhere and her fans are from many different places. Having DJ Khaled as her role model, she began dropping music collaborating with different artists. Her first project was lost files and she did it with a lot of talented people from Sacramento, then her second and more exciting project is dropping soon called Pandemic Problems. On the Second Project, she is collaborating with a lot of West coast artist. She have already began working on her third project, better than before making it interesting and collab with artist who have bigger names and experience.

- How long has music been a part of your life?
Since the age of 10, but DJing since the age of 17
- If it wasn’t for music, where would you be now?
Who knows what I would be doing if I wasn’t in the industry probably in a office job doing the whole 9-5
- How did you come to realise that music was the way forward for you?
Once I touched a dj mixer I couldn’t stop and the way I was getting booked weekly and seen the money coming in I was like wow is this really a career and just kept pushing
- In what way do you aim to make a difference?
There’s not a lot of female DJs out there or there’s alot of females afraid in the music industry and I want to motivate females to keep pushing for what they dream of and never give up
- What’s the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Most trouble I’ve ever got into was getting a damn DUI I was in the holding tank for 12 hours lol never again
- Where is your career heading? What’s the vision?
When it comes to music I have a album that’s coming out soon and it’s going to make some noise! Everyone will know my name.
- How would you describe your style of music?
When it comes comes to my album it’s a mix of hiphop/ rnb. But what I listen to, I can listen to anything I vibe with hip hop rap country spanish rock you name it.
- When it comes to performing, what’s your style?
As soon as I hit the Stage I’m not thinking about anything but the music and the crowd, I start off with a lot of 2000s hiphop to get the crowd going I like when it’s like “damn I haven’t heard this in so long” or “ooooo this my songgg”
- If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
My dream was always to DJ at EDC, I grew up DJing house music first so EDC is very known to have top DJs
- What’s your favourite project so far, and why?
Favorite project right now is probably the one I’m bout to drop it took me a minute to get this album together, it’s dropping soon everyone will see why it’s one of my favorites.
