It’s now been four days, since hip-hop lost Young Dolph, to a shooting, in his hometown of Memphis. Two men shot at Dolph, while he was purchasing cookies, at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies, a popular store on the side side of the city. Dolph’s killers are still at-large, but their getaway Mercedes-Benz appears to have been found.
Dolph’s reported final interview has also surfaced, with WREG 3. This was at the West Cancer Clinic, in the Memphis area, on November 15.
Dolph discussed the upcoming turkey drive that he was supposed to hold, which went on as planned, after his death. Dolph also showed this cancer clinic love, regarding the employees. Dolph went on to reveal that his relatives, such as his aunt, grandma, and uncle, were in this same clinic, battling cancer.
“I wanted to show up and just wanted to thank them for what they do. ‘Cause it ain’t an easy job. Like, it’s kind of hard, you know what I mean? Just seeing people in those conditions, like, some people be more down than others. Some be alright. It just be all about timing. Like, even the ones that be alright, it only last for so long but they do a hell of a job. And I just wanted to come and congratulate them and let ’em know I appreciate them.”
Dolph also thanked the employees there, as he made it known that they deserve their recognition. He went on to tell them: “I just wanted to really give y’all your flowers so y’all know you appreciated.”
