Drake Says "Certified Lover Boy" Album Will Finally Be Out By The End of The Summer [VIDEO]

During all of 2021 so far, fans have been waiting for Drake to finally release his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.” This was initially supposed to be out in January, but Drake announced its delay at the end of the month.

Now, Drake has provided an update on when CLB will finally be out. During a backstage interview at the URL NOME XI Battle Rap Event on Saturday night, he said that CLB will be out by the end of the summer. Drake said this confidently, which has since generated a lot of excitement by fans on social media.

The last time that fans received a full studio album from Drake was back in the summer of 2018, with “Scorpion.” That was his fifth straight number one album and was led by hits such as “Gods Plan,” “Nice For What” and “In My Feelings” feat. City Girls. The album ended up going 5x platinum in the US.

Thankfully though, Drake released his “Scary Hours 2” EP, which released in March and had three songs, which also included Rick Ross and Lil Baby on that project. The three songs went on to debut in the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Drake the first artist to do so.
