DMX's First Posthumous Studio Album, "Exodus," Set To Be Released at The End of This Month and is Reportedly Executive Produced by Swizz Beatz

Back on April 24, DMX’s funeral was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The day after, another ceremony was held for him by his loved ones somewhere in NYC. That was a very rough month for them along with fans of the rapper worldwide as he was in a White Plains, NY hospital for a week on life support. That came after suffering a heart attack from an apparent drug overdose.

Now, new DMX music is quickly being rolled out as his first posthumous studio album is coming soon. This forthcoming project is titled “Exodus” and is set for a May 28 release date, according to his Instagram feed. According to HotNewHipHop.com, it will also be executive produced by Swizz Beatz, who was very close with X and also spoke at his funeral.

“My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure,” said Swizz in a press release. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”

Last week, X’s final interview also aired on TVOne. The New York rapper dived deep into his personal life, which also included his mother coming to see him during therapy.
